Diary Love ❤

I was slightly gutted to miss out on a Frankie diary once again this year, but the blow was softened by a gorgeous Liberty patterned everyday diary from my mother in law for Christmas and then a couple of days ago another rectangular parcel of loveliness turned up courtesy of a wonderful friend sending a late Christmas present; a Five Year Diary.

The idea being to record snippets from your life each day to build up a bank of memories over 5 years and you'll be able to compare what you got up to on the same day in subsequent years.  What a beautiful gift! I'm totally smitten with it; the premise, the colour, the gold-edged pages, the diamond patterned end papers and the gorgeous typography throughout.  I've started writing in it already and I look forward to having it to reflect back on in years to come - plus, I might steal this gift idea for other friends of mine because I know some of them will be just as bewitched by it as I am!

  1. This looks such a gorgeous diary and a great idea. Would be really interesting to see how one day could change in five different ways over the years.

  7. I was lucky enough to win a Frankie diary from Kylie this year (keep meaning to blog about it), but your 5 year one is a very pretty alternative. It will be fascinating to see whether a certain day is always a good one, for example. Now you have to choose a beautiful pen and your best handwriting to fill it in!

  13. Wow, that is one gorgeous diary! I’ve heard of this concept before and really think it’s quite a wise idea. I grew up engrossed in diaries and journals a like, I was obsessed with keeping track of my life and chronicling the everyday. I still love the appeal of a good old fashioned diary xxx
